The survey shows that food safety rumors often selectively ignore key parts, and intentionally or unintentionally blur them, coupled with inflammatory discourse, sensational headlines, infinitely magnifying part of the content, causing public panic and eventually falling into rumors. According to some surveys, 72% of respondents are eager to get more knowledge of science and rumors, and the readings of food-related rumors are generally higher.
